Genesis Yoga, run by certified instructor Toni Polizzi is an energetic vinyasa yoga class designed to build strength, enhance flexibility, and promote body awareness. This fiery flow will build heat and leave you feeling invigorated and revived. We'll balance the work with deeper, therapeutic postures to aid in muscle recovery and restoration. All levels welcome!
With a background heavily based in athletics, Toni teaches a vigorous and fluid form of vinyasa yoga with a lighthearted and playful approach. Through intelligent alignment principles and creative sequencing, Toni's teaching is designed to help provide students with the tools and techniques to understand and address the needs of their own bodies.

Meditation can seem intimidating, like it's an all or nothing approach. In reality, meditation allows our minds to focus on one thing, and detaches from those negative thoughts, worries, anxiety, and fears. When we meditate, we can sharpen the mind by gaining focus and expanding through relaxation. So, give it a shot! just...sit. put the phone away, clear out some space, and sit. and breathe. when thoughts pop up, and they will, let them float away. doing so creates awareness, and who doesn't need to become a little more self aware? Finding out what makes you react, or not react, or fight, or flee is telling, and that awareness allows us to create a deeper connection with and understanding of ourselves, and in turn, with others.
